The EU 25 Electricity and Gas Markets Report surveys 30 countries; the 25 countries of the EU, the three candidate countries, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey and two prominent European non-members, Norway and Switzerland. 10 new member states from Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean joined the Union in May 2004 and three more are in the pipeline to join.
