This series of forecasts of equipement markets is presented in four groups.

Group 1 consists of two forecasts of capital expenditure from 2004 to 2009 in 2004 real prices; total capex on T&D construction, and expenditure on all HV T&D equipment.

Groups 2 to 4 contain forecasts for individual equipment and materials categories; (2) transformers, switchcgear, (3) HV insulated cables, lines and insulators; (4) LV cables consisting of, optical fibre cable, coaxial cable, installation cable (80-1000 V), copper communications wire and winding wire.
